Christian Hanson grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin and worked in multiple industries after he graduated high school. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. In 2019 he received his Master’s degree in Advertising and Strategic communication from Purdue University. While he was in graduate school, Christian decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer. He attended the University of Illinois Chicago Law and transferred to UW Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2023.
While he was in law school, Christian interned for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley and for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Office of General Counsel. He active in the First-Generation Lawyers student association and served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society.
Christian met his wife and best friend, Mariah while they were attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. After the two reconnected in 2020, she and the natural beauty of southern Wisconsin compelled Christian to move to the area and complete his legal education.
In his spare time, Christian likes hiking, going to the movies, and taking his wife out on the town in search of a new restaurant to try. Christian finds new admiration for southern Wisconsin every day and looks forward to serving the residents of the area.
